All change for the Shooters Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Police Team
PC Fiona Genovese left the Shooters Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Police Team (SHSNT) on Monday 12 September to temporarily join the Eltham Safer Neighbourhoods team, then on to her new full time role in CID.
Fiona joined the SHSNT in summer 2009, with special responsibility for the Shooters Hill micro beat.
Fiona built an extra special relationship with Eaglesfield Park Neighbourhood Watch Scheme Principle Co-ordinators Jenny and Graham Penn, and the rest of the team, carrying out tremendous work in our community including the key contact in organising the Met Police participation at the annual community fetes, the K9 awareness event in Shrewsbury Park in September 2010, provider of copy for the Shooters Hill Neighbourhoods Watch Schemes website and trying to keep the team of seven men in order!
The scheme thanks Fiona for her years of commitment, dedication and passion about our community and wishes her all the best in her new role in CID - she will be missed.
The SHSNT resource is reduced to one Sergeant, two PCs and four PCSOs.It is early days to know what impact this has for the residents, businesses and visitors on the Shooters Hill Police Ward. Further changes are on the horizon as the PCSO’s have applied for PC positions – the scheme wishes them all the best in their applications to further their careers.
