Qualifications and training
I’m local and live in Welling, Kent. I started a pre-apprenticeship course in 1978 with the then Erith College of Technology. I then progressed to a four year apprenticeship with the London Electricity Board (LEB). I passed out in 1983 gaining ‘apprentice of the year’ in my final year to become a fully indentures electrician. I left the LEB in 1984 and started my own electrical business and eventually formed Greenlite Ltd. I was trained on the 14th Edition wiring regulations but also hold the 15th, 16th and 17th editions along with the testing and inspection cert from the NICEIC.
